Bethany Purvis

My real estate carrier officially started 3 years ago when I decided I no longer wanted to work full time as a nurse. Even though I am fairly new to real estate my parents have been REALTORS® for years; so I have learned a lot from just being around them. Our office is in Flowood - so yes I can say that I am a Rankin County expert.
I love all aspects of real estate. For my sellers I enjoy developing a win-win relationship to ensure that my clients have the best experience possible. I have learned that pictures and lots of online information is what sells a home. Buyers will look over a home that has bad pictures even when it may be exactly what they are looking for.
With buyers I work diligently to find a home that fits my clients needs. This requires really getting to know them which I love!! I don't want to take a buyer into a home that has aspects that they have already expressed that they don't like; this not only frustrates buyers but the people who have the home listed. I don't limit myself to the MLS to find my buyers a home. I do not hesitate to show a for sale by owner if it is a home that meets my clients specifications.
Everyone asks me why I quit nursing - they think it was for the money. But no I don't make more money in real estate. I worked as a nurse in the ICU for 18 years. During that time I have seen many changes to healthcare. I found that while I love taking care of the patients and their families I no longer loved the paperwork and frustrations. I hope I bring some of my best qualities as a nurse into my real estate carrier and that is caring. I don't just want to sell your home or help you buy a home. I want to a personal relationship with my clients to help them get the very best service. I want them to keep in touch with me for years to come. I want them to be able to say "Call Bethany she will bend over backwards to help you." I now work full time as a real estate agent and on an as needed basis at a local Children's clinic as a nurse. Full time means 24-7 to me. The only limits are for God and family. I attend church at Park Place Baptist in Pearl and have a 16 year old daughter and a husband who likes to hunt and fish - while those take priority they are also flexible so that I can devote whatever time I need to my clients.
